Behind the Aliens-Will-Smite-Us News Story

Would these guys want to come here?

It isn’t every day that a research paper published in an obscure academic journal attracts its own, full blown article in a major newspaper. It isn’t every day that a science correspondent writes an article that merits a headline as bizarre as the following: Aliens may destroy humanity to protect other civilizations, say scientists.
One of the main assertions of this Guardian news story has already been withdrawn......read article

The IPCC-Pachuri-Carbon merchants

Questions and answers

Rajendra Pachauri is the chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. We’re told this United Nations body is a scientific organization that writes scientific reports. Pachauri is also a grownup. He’s in his seventies, for heaven’s sake, and holds a PhD in economics.
So why is his analysis always so....read article

Pachuri's Squishy Timeline

Back in January 2005, Rajendra Pachauri, chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, told us there wasn’t a moment to lose in the fight against climate change.
By November 2007 he was ominously declaring that the next two to three years would determine our future. That was the defining moment. It would be too late, he said, if a new emissions treaty wasn’t in place by 2012.
 Needless to say....read article

The Journal of Climate and the IPCC

We’re supposed to trust the conclusions of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) because much of the research on which it relies was published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
But what happens when the people who are in charge of these journals are the same ones who write IPCC reports?
Today’s exhibit is the Journal of Climate. It’s published by.....read article

Supreme Court contradicts Gillards warmists/

The US Supreme Court agrees: the science is indeed not settled, and carbon dioxide is a not pollution:

The justices of the United States Supreme Court this week became the world’s most august global warming sceptics. Not by virtue of their legal reasoning – the global warming case they decided turned on a technical legal issue — but in their surprising commentary. Global warming is by no means a settled issue Read More....

IPCC And WMO – The Clowns Have Taken Over The Circus « Tory Aardvark

Anyone who thinks Al Gore is not to blame for the Global Warming/Climate craze because it is the climate scientists who direct this maniacal Political Scheme is totally out of their minds. Al Gore is the individual who gathered these people together for the perpetuation of his dream scheme in the first place.

For those who believe the people who call themselves Climate Scientists in the IPCC and WMO, nothing could be further from the truth. Most of the members of these and other such “so called climate organizations” are not meteorologists or climate experts at all, but individuals with

Greenpeace founder questions man-made Global warming

Patrick Moore, co-founder of the environmental organization Greenpeace, isn’t too hot about global warming.
Appearing on Fox Business Network with Stuart Varney on Thursday, he said global warming is a “natural phenomenon,” there’s no proof of man-made global warming, and suggested that “alarmism” is driving politicians to create bad environmental policies.
He also said he’s not the only environmentalist that believes like him: Read more
